Charles is a partner and head of the firm's commercial property department. He provides legal advice on all areas of non-contentious commercial property, having experience of sales and purchases (including multi-million pound transactions), as well as commercial lettings (ranging from whole blocks at Canary Wharf to high street retail premises), and secured lending and refinancing (for both single assets and portfolios). He has also undertaken management of investment portfolios, and advised on the property elements in numerous corporate transactions (including multi-jurisdiction cross-border transactions).
He has acted for clients ranging from small private companies, high net worth individuals and charities, to FTSE100 companies, Premiership football clubs, London clearing banks and household name pension funds.
