Shilpen is the head of the firm’s Employment practise, and acts for employers, employees and professional clients in a variety of contentious and non-contentious matters. This extends to managing disciplinary and grievance issues, general statutory compliance, compromise agreements and employment issues arising in corporate transactions.
Shilpen has a particular niche in acting for bankers, senior executives, professionals and company directors in connection with their entire employment needs. He regularly pursues contractual and statutory claims in the Employment Tribunal and the High Court on behalf of these clients.
Shilpen also has several years of experience in general commercial litigation and dispute resolution, and has been involved in a number of reported cases and cross-border disputes. He continues to maintain a significant caseload of commercial litigation and contentious insolvency matters.
Shilpen was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1997. He is also admitted as an Attorney to the New York State Bar.
